Why I Joined Stampin’ Up!

I originally joined Stampin’ Up! for a very simple reason — I loved paper crafting and wanted to enjoy the discount on products I was already using. At the time, it felt like a practical decision more than anything else.

What I didn’t expect was how much I would learn, how my confidence would grow, or how many wonderful people I would meet along the way. I discovered high-quality products that actually work the way you hope they will, along with a creative community that is encouraging, generous, and inspiring.

As a (now retired) elementary teacher, I’ve always loved sharing what I know and helping others learn new skills. Stampin’ Up! gave me a way to continue doing that through something I truly enjoy. Teaching techniques, breaking things down so they feel doable, and cheering others on as they create has been incredibly rewarding.

Over time, this became more than just a hobby. It became a creative outlet, a way to connect with others, and a space where friendships naturally grew. Whether someone joins for the discount, the creativity, the community, or a little extra income, I truly believe there’s room for everyone — and I love being able to support people wherever they are on their crafting journey.
