Cropped about me image qcxz9g

Hi there!

Hi, I’m Sharon Bourdeau, an independent Stampin’ Up! demonstrator based in Stony Plain, Alberta. I’ve been a demonstrator for eight years, but I’ve been paper crafting for decades — long before it became my “thing.”
I originally joined Stampin’ Up! to enjoy the perks of being a demonstrator, but along the way I discovered so much more: new skills, fresh creativity, and a wonderful community of crafty friends. That journey led to Sharon’s Stamping Spot, where I now share cardmaking projects, techniques, tips, and inspiration through my blog, Facebook page and group, Instagram, Pinterest, and my YouTube channel.

I’m also a retired elementary teacher, which probably explains why I love teaching just as much as creating. I truly believe that anyone can make beautiful things with paper — and I enjoy breaking techniques down so they feel approachable, achievable, and fun. Helping others gain confidence in their crafting is one of my favorite parts of what I do.

When I’m not crafting, I enjoy connecting with fellow makers, sharing ideas, and building friendships along the way. I hope you’ll find Sharon’s Stamping Spot to be a friendly, encouraging, and inspiring place to spend some creative time.

Feel free to explore my online store, and don’t hesitate to reach out and contact me if you have questions or need a little crafty help — I’m always happy to help.

Are You New to Paper Crafting?

Stampin’ Up! is a wonderful place to start. I’ve been crafting all my life, and paper crafting in particular for decades. I’ve tried a wide range of products over the years and have found that Stampin’ Up! consistently offers the best quality paper, inks, and beautifully coordinated colours. I also know how frustrating it can be to work with supplies that just don’t perform — I’ve been there! With Stampin’ Up!, those frustrations disappear.

Stampin’ Up! has been such a positive part of my creative life. I love the quality and versatility of the products, and the amazing things I can make with them. Cardmaking is my zen — a chance to slow down, create something meaningful, and find a little peace. And the people I love benefit too, because every handmade card is a small way of showing how much they matter to me.

I’ve been a Stampin’ Up! demonstrator for eight years and feel confident guiding others as they learn the ropes. While I love creating my own projects, I’m just as passionate about sharing what I know. I’ve taught card classes with friends and family, with their connections, and even with my students back when I was still teaching. I have a lot to share — and I’m still learning too — which keeps this creative journey exciting.

You’ll find links on this page to my Facebook group and Facebook page, Instagram, YouTube channel, Pinterest boards, and blog. I regularly share projects, tips and tricks, and the cards I’m creating along the way.

If you have questions, need help navigating something, or just want to say hello, please feel free to reach out and contact me! I’d love to help you start — or continue — your paper crafting journey.
